Mountain View Electric Association, Inc.was a multi-phase project.
Phase 1: A new 2-story office building addition east of the existing building, new truck parking bay addition, removal of the existing south parking lot, complete drainage facilities/site grading for the entire base bid parking lot, construct and pave a new parking lot, install new site utilities, relocate existing pre-engineered steel warehouse building, and complete storage yard grading/modifications.
Phase2: We demolished portions of the existing building, constructed a new one-story office space between the existing and new two-story addition, and completed the new parking lot.
Phase 3: Remodeled the interior of the existing office into warehouse space and parking garage, remodeled warehouse office and constructed testing shops, removed the remaining south parking lot, and complete site development landscape and irrigation.
Building Construction
Foundation & Structure:
Footing and stem walls.
Site Construction:
20 acres of the site consist of 3 asphalt parking areas and a training area for use of solar and wind energy.
Floors:
1st floor SOG, 2nd floor bar joist and metal deck.
Roof:
Fully adhered EPDM and standing seam metal.

INTERIOR WALLS:
Gypsum board with paint and wall fabric finish.
EXTERIOR WALLS:
Masonry CMU veneer and metal wall panels.
Geothermal System:
A geothermal system consisting of 120 well points drilled into the ground at a depth of four hundred feet. The system uses 1-1/4” polyethylene piping fed into the building through the mechanical room. The system is then circulated by 25 heat pumps placed throughout the building
